    Who Loves Sunday Dinner?

    Sunday Salmon located in Castle Rock, Colorado is a delicious, NO-COST, organic, gluten and seed-oil-free community restaurant. https://www.sundaysalmon.com/ Here's why we love them and have chosen to partner with them in providing Sunday meals. The restaurant is community-style, with tables seating 10-12 guests. Their goal is similar to ours: To foster connections by seating neighbors from all walks of life together to share family-style wholesome organic meals, good conversation, and a sense of belonging. We both call it Dining With Dignity. The restaurant will operate on Sundays for the first half of the year with the intention of opening for

The Third Meal, with help from Chook supplying roasted chicken to walk-ins during the holidays, our supporters, friends, families and companies who support us with matching donations have helped us grow our program in 2024 by tenfold.   3. Since November, The Third Meal has been providing aid to Janus Youth Programs, a Portland and Vancouver organization that gives relief to un-housed teens and single moms. Two residences, Bridge House in SE Portland, and Oak Bridge in Vancouver have been receiving gift cards for two restaurant chains, Chipotle and Straight From New York Pizza so that they can 'dine with dignity', as well as receiving groceries and gift cards from Walmart and Fred Meyers. Over 30 people are having 'feasts' at least once a month in their 're-entry' residences while nearly 500 "drop-in" teens are able to access gift

    At the beginning of 2024 The Third Meal set a goal to double the number of children being fed in our programs. The good news is that in just the last three months alone we've expanded from helping to feed a little over 50 children to over 500. Since September we added 3 new projects: one in an Oklahoma food desert, one in a title 1 school in Denver, Colorado and the third for unhoused teens in the Portland, Oregon metro area. We also added an additional service by having food delivered from a Walmart to the schools before children

  8. We are excited to announce our newest school - Thackerville Elementary in Oklahoma! We are now feeding 50 pre-K and Kindergarten students at our newest school through your donations. Thanks for your generosity. Welcome and thank you Danielle!
