Celebrating the Season of Giving: Valverde Elementary Partners with The Third Meal for Holiday Meal Distribution
DENVER – Denver Public School’s Valverde Elementary is excited to announce a special holiday food giveaway for all of its families on Friday, Dec. 20. The initiative aims to distribute 250 holiday meal baskets to families in need, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a festive meal this season.
The meals are being provided in partnership with The Third Meal, an organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity, and providing families with “that third meal.” In addition to the meal baskets, Chook Chicken has generously stepped up to donate whole cooked chickens, providing an added bonus for Valverde families during the holiday break.
This event isn’t solely about providing food—it’s about fostering a sense of community and togetherness. The District and Valverde Elementary are proud to partner with organizations that share that vision.
