The Third Meal has finally received our 4 Star rating from Charity Navigator!
They gave us a 91% citing a tax form and financial disclosure missing from our website. There a tab at the top of our home page titled “Transparency” where you can find our 2022, 2023 and 2024 financials. Our 2025 financials will be published in September of 2026 and that should get us to 100%!
But hey, let’s be clear. When you donate to the Third Meal, the children and families receive 100% of your donation. All of the the money you donate, we give directly to schools or restaurants and is matched by both us and the restaurant!
We want you to know that 100% of our administrative overhead is covered by us, here at the Third Meal. (Steve & Ray) We have no employees, no salaries, we just pay to keep the website and the technical side of the house operational and volunteer our time to spread the word about our mission and purpose..
In the past three years we’ve grown from feeding a dozen families in Reno, Nevada to feeding over 1000 children and families meals and snacks every week in 5 states!
